Volunteer of the Month

Shannon Arensman

Each month we like to highlight an extrodinary individual that volunteers their time and energy to make Peer 180 a better place. We have volunteers of all ages that help with a variety of different tasks at The Station.

To learn more about our volunteer opportunities, or to become one of our critical volunteers, please come down to the Station and fill out an application.

Volunteer Opportunities

Peer 180 offers opportunities for those who are in active recovery, the family members of those in recovery, and also allies of those in recovery. Volunteers help with a variety of tasks including clerical work, event hosting, meeting facilitation, and more! We are greatly supported by our volunteers and we would not be able to provide all of the resources to our community without the gracious participation of our volunteer staff. Volunteering at Peer 180 is a beautiful way to grow your own recovery as an individual and as a community member.

If you are interested in volunteering, please come by The Station and fill out an application.

“Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love.”

- Martin Luther King Jr.
